How we create MINT PILs
We have multiple teams working on every MINT PIL.
A team of HCPs led by NHS trained consultants research, write, reference and revise the medical information of the MINT PIL. They collaborate with patients to ensure the information is relevant to their needs.
The writing team hands over the material to the art team. They revise each illustration and drawing with them to ensure the accuracy of the information.
The drawn leaflet is sent to external consultants for further opinions and revision. It is also sent to members of the public. A meeting is then conducted to decide on further requirements that assist in education, like videos or interactivity.
The PIL is handed over to the IT team, who turn it into the MINT PIL format and upload it onto the platform.
Further feedback is gathered from HCPs and the public and after any modifications, the PIL is licensed for general use.
